From Goodreads:

Now that the ley lines around Cabeswater have been woken, nothing for Ronan, Gansey, Blue, and Adam will be the same.

Ronan, for one, is falling more and more deeply into his dreams, and his dreams are intruding more and more into waking life.

Meanwhile, some very sinister people are looking for some of the same pieces of the Cabeswater puzzle that Gansey is after…

I want to stop reading series until they are complete – I can’t take the anticipation anymore!

The Dream Thieves did not entirely appeal to me the same way The Raven Boys did. There is more focus on Ronan and car racing and monsters than the search for Glendower. Ronan really grew on me in The Dream Thieves, but I still prefer when the focus is on Blue or Gansey.

Adam took a disappointing turn – instead of being resigned to help Gansey on the search, he takes matters into his own hands in order to ensure that he is the one granted favor. Adam has friends that would do anything to help him, even their families would do anything to help him, but his pride keeps him from accepting anything that might be a handout. The favor he wants from Glendower is basically to be as rich as his friends. He was dealt a crappy lot in life, but it’s his own choosing to go to Aglionby that makes him really realize what he’s missing out on.

In that moment, Blue was a little in love with all of them. Their magic. Their quest. Their awfulness and strangeness. Her raven boys.

The Dream Thieves is made up of secrets and mysteries and almost kisses and A DRAGON! I have only the vaguest idea where this series is going – but only the in the broadest sense. They will find Glendower and…that’s all I have. I highly recommend this series for anyone who needs a bit of magic in their life.

Infernalis: Waiting for the next book is already excruciating.
